Schepel Buick? I thought I was at Schepel Cadillac. Anyway, something went wrong with one of my rear bumper safety sensors on my 2015 Cadillac SRX. It took two visits to diagnose and repair the faulty sensor. The replacement part was in stock on the first visit, but it needed to be painted to match the bumper color. The second visit was to install the new painted sensor. Thanks to the great GM warranty, there was no cost to me. I am a loyal GM customer, but I sure do miss Pontiac.
The body shop did a very good job on the collision repair, but scratches that needed touch up were not satisfactory through no fault of the body shop. I think there was definitely a problem with the paint and I intend to write to Cadillac. When I took the car back to complain, I observed as the person added more paint, but it was as though the paint was translucent.
