Trim Levels of the 2025 GMC Sierra HD

Different strokes for different folks, right? The 2025 GMC Sierra HD gets that, with seven trims built around different needs and tastes. Here’s how each one makes its case.

Pro

Taken on their own, a 6.6-liter V8 with 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, a 10-speed Allison transmission, and the biggest cargo box in the class are each solid reasons to look twice.

For those after diesel power, there’s an available 6.6-liter Duramax V8. It delivers 470 horsepower, 975 lb-ft of torque, and a maximum towing capacity of 22,420 pounds. For reference, the strongest gasser pulls a maximum of 18,700 pounds.

SLE

Next up, the SLE builds on the Pro model with a set of useful upgrades, including cloth seats instead of vinyl, larger screens (a 13.4-inch infotainment display and a 12.3-inch Driver Information Center), a wrapped steering wheel with integrated controls, keyless open and start, and a tailgate equipped with EZ Lift.

SLT

Going from the SLE to the SLT gets you leather upholstery, power heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a rear window defogger, carpeted floor mats, a manual tilt and telescoping steering column, and a remote start system.

AT4

For those who want their trucks to handle more than pavement, the AT4 brings real off-road capability. It’s fitted with skid plates underneath, twin-tube Rancho shocks tuned for off-road work, and Hill Descent Control to manage steep drops. The nice part is that this isn’t just a rough-and-ready trim. Inside, you’ll find niceties such as heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, and a Bose sound system.

Denali

The Denali is all about on-road luxury. It upgrades the SLT with a trim-specific interior consisting of open-pore wood, metal accents, and forged perforated leather heating surfaces. It also features a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a bed view camera, and a 360-degree view camera.

AT4X

This takes the AT4’s off-road game to the next level with a factory-installed 1.5-inch lift, Multimatic DSSV dampers, rear lockers, larger skid plates, and 35-inch Goodyear Territory MT tires.

Denali Ultimate

The Denali Ultimate is as comfortable as the Sierra HD gets. It’s absolutely loaded with high-end features, such as full-grain leather seating, genuine open-pore Paldao wood trim, 16-way power front seats that massage, and a Bose Premium Series sound system.
